The Sticks + Stones Tour may be over, but our favorite Brit has definitely made a lasting impression across the UK! Check out some of the reviews across the pond…

“This lady has genuine talent. She has a bucket full of integrity and can cut it live. After all, are we not tired of seeing pop tarts that can’t **** sing and perform live? I was pleasantly surprised to see she sang live throughout, did a handful of acoustic songs and owned every single second of being on that stage. What’s got me even more excited about Cher is the fact that things are starting to take off for this young girl in a big way in America. And I can’t think of a better artist to go out there and prove a point. Good music and soul will always prevail – and she has that. She’s got swagger, edginess and a cool attitude to life. ‘In America, I hope the music will be what people take on board. It’s a chance for a fresh start. I’m nervous, but I’m going to give it my best shot.’ The other thing I got from tonight’s performance was a glimmer of a different sort of Cher. During the acoustic sets, Cher covered Robyn’s stunning ‘Dancing On My Own’ and Usher’s ‘OMG.’ They, for me, were out of this world. With a live band, flashing lights and backing dancers, the pint-sized star kept the audience entertained during the 70-minute set, the penultimate night of her 14-date tour. She went on to impress the crowd when she hit the high notes with slower numbers, showing off her singing talent. The highlight of the night was her performance of number-one single, Swagger Jagger, which got her fans dancing and waving their banners while an impressive array of flashing lights lit up the stage. The tiny pop starlet does an almost passable rap impression for the packed out crowd grinding profusely and growling out lyrics such as: ‘I got a flow that’ll make your mother and father call the cops.’ The covers section is the clear show highlight. Covering Robyn’s ‘Dancing On My Own,’ Cher shows her vulnerable side and proves she really can sing.
